A bird comes in to land atop of the domes of the Taji mahal in Agra, India, as Venus, the dot at top left, passes across the face of the sun. The event, which occurs when the planet’s orbit brings it between Earth and the sun, takes place roughly twice a century and won’t occur again until 2117.
